Got the bits £15 now have to strip it, not looking forward, was thinking about swapping a main frame side one side at a time or am I best just dismantling the whole thing?

It's easy as trust me. Just strip it and remember where the screws go and to loctite it. I've done two now. It is easy and there are guides

Take some photos as you strip it down so you can see what it should look like when it goes back together.

You read my Mind!! Job done, taking photos on my phone as I stripped it! Was surprised how easy it was, I actually enjoyed it! Just need a blade holder and I’m ready to fly, I have spun it up without blades and checked servos move correctly.

Or after it's all set up remove to of the three leads leading to motor. Can set up servos to correct level that way easier

do you think they will need any adjustment?

That's pretty good considering the damage.

Not if you haven't removed the linkage to the servo no. Might of thought you had is all. Make sure you get them the right way round mind

So I popped to Mikes Models in Brum and got the Blade Holder (wheelspin were out of stock) what a shop! Will be going back again so helpful, fitted it and spooled up in the garden, disaster!! The tail motor screamed into life spinning the helicopter round, thought oh no gyro dead? Turned around the plug from the tail motor and she flew like a dream, not bad after face planting it 2 days ago, the 200srx is back in business!

Now do I go straight to intermediate on the basis that I flunked it because it couldn’t pull out of a dive or stick on beginner and stop dive bombing! mmmm.........

Excellent news. Can I ask how it flies compared to your nQX? Ideally back-to-back outdoors on a calm day, as obviously the nQX doesn't tolerate very much wind. I actually find it works well outdoors in the advanced mode, providing you tweak the rates down on the TX.

I played with the 3 mode. Intermediate is ok. But my God advanced is a no go yet. Be careful. Try high up as its a bit more pitch etc. Try but be safe lol
