  • Fly Backwards msr

Been having problem with msr flying backwards, even after full trim and battery moved forward as far as it will go,

looked at swashplate which seemed level, thought I would adjust servo pushrods to give more movement downwards and busted one rod,

is there a mod to stop msr flying backwards, I am in mode two and I am fighting it all the time sometimes getting into a pendulum motion.

    thanks

I don't know the MSR, but I wonder if a servo arm could have come off center, or if you have a bad servo. With the MSR on the ground or spooled up in your hands (should be safe enough on these small models), do you get a noticeable tilt on the swashplate if you give it full forwards?

If you don't get a good tilt forwards there's something mechanical wrong. Check that the swash is level at mid stick, and also check that all servos are moving smoothly through their full range of motion. A faulty rear servo could very easily cause this.

what I am hoping to do is shorten the servo rod when they come to give swash plate I tilt forward,

you could always swap the links to the shorter balls on the swash to tame it down a bit

I just had a look at that not to sure if that would do the trick, might give it a go to make sure when I get rods
