motor grearing -came unstuck

ok guy been plying with my heli and motor seems to get rarther hot so im thinking maybe over gear, ive got a x400 align 35 A esc and 3500kv motor it gets quite hot, the motor mount part on the motor like where the screws goes through came unstuck form the can of the motor itself, looks of it theres rings in the can and rings on the end bit and what looks like glue, so need to reglue that, im running a 13 pinion at the moment. does this sound to much for this heli ? is it better to go alot lower gear - motor wont struggle at all but may over rev ? or have to hight pinion - put alot of strain on the motor ? what best - wish will run cooler?

should be ok with a smaller pinion a motor will not over rev when there is no load on it like an engine would i use a 13t pinion on my dragonus with the same motor / esc combo without problems

yer i mean like a elctric motor will rev and get hot if there is no load on it like to easy as your be at high revs, is it ok to glue the motor back together ? like the mounting part of the motor to the can ?

ok qucik edit just relised that the end bit screws into the can so need some locktight to stop it coming undone again, would i be better off using super glue or loktite as ino lock tight is made to undo under heat when as super glue i think can stand abit more heat
