Hi Stretch79, Sorry to hear about your first "Controlled Flight Into Terrain". I find it best to practice new moves over reasonably long grass as hard surfaces always cause extra damage and costly repairs but rest assured, as you practice more on the sim (and a in a safer area) the crashes get less and so the cost of the hobby goes down too.

Stretch, you're on the road now buddy. To threatening letters from the bank plus an alcohol intake increase. Great fun though.
Ady ? All them wrecked ships your own work ? I'd be seriously considering basket weaving by then Don't s'pose you've worked out the £s worth there have you ? 10 / 10 for determination there dude.

              Lost trex 700n last year.

              canopy
              blades
              boom
              all gears
              4 servos
              skids
              base plate.
All I had pretty much left was Side frames and blade grips.
All down to losing 1 cyclic servo.

                  Sounds expensive big.

been looking at them tom. Merely meant more range possibly. Think I'll buy a package will work out a little cheaper than getting it individually

I must be doing something wrong, in over two years I've never seriously damaged one!

I guess it very much depends how hard you push, admittedly I don't push very hard. But if i was writing one off every month, let alone every week, I'd have taken up stamp collecting. Personally i just couldn't take that degree of carnage.

LOL I started proper flying on a blade 400, my local model shop was on the way home from the flying field, often pop in Saturday afternoon having crashed at the field, rebuild sat night fly crash Sunday :-). I got Sunday night off as they where shut hehehe. That's said blade 400 parts where cheap as chips, less than a round down the pub... hurts more the bigger your bird.

First was to catch my poor heli. Think I panicked somewhat. Should of given it more throttle lol

Hmm! Sorry about the parts list but thankfully only landed on your neighbour's house - not in their kiddies face. I know it's only a wee heli but they can draw blood.
