  • Need help.

Hi, i am thinking about buying a rc helicopter but i dont know anything about them. I would like a outside one which a beginner could learn how to use on, not too expensive not too cheap. I am also considering buying one off ebay sometime soon.
    Please give suggestions and tips.

    Thanks!

Is it a good idea to go to places to get help from experienced people or would a beginers rc helicopter be ok to learn with?

Go to a shop and ask for advise, it's the best way. Try not to go down the second hand route, it's dangerous and not worth it. There are a few chaps on this site that sell, check it out.

There is nothing wrong with the training heli.
Learning to hover is not easy and the more stable and user friendly your machine the better.
Find your local club and see what people are using there.
Most importantly make sure you buy something that has spares available locally.
              Best of luck

Where is your local club ?

Go and see what they are flying, talk to them there will be .30 size heli's being flown.

Buy a heli the same to what's being flown at the field, this way you can get extra help at the field with people that know your type of heli.

Buy new if you have the money.
