    Cool!

    Hi Cambs Flyer,

That's a dead ringer for the motors on the 'copter. I'll order up a couple, coz at this rate it looks like we'll go through one a week!

    Thanks for that!!

    Cheers,
    Ripface.

      It's fixed ... not it's not ... yes it is ... no it's not ...

      Hah!

Took the 'copter apart last night, removed the motor and twiddled with the drive pin. Whatcha know!! It free'd up and is now working a treat!!

Popped her all back together and we're cooking by gas again. WHAT a ball ache those tiny screws are. Just as well I have a small magnetic phillips driver otherwise I'd have needed another pair of hands!

Guess I'll let wee sean play around with this for a while until it won't fly no more ... then get him a decent bird!

Thanks to all the posters for their suggestions, and if you have an Apache AH-64 helicopter needing work .... you never know, with my experience I might be able to help!

      Cheers,
      Ripface.

you have to set the blades so that they are in a straight line from tip to tip, a line of 180 degs. the blades are held tight by a screw in each one. they should not be over tightened so as to allow the blades to move if they strike something.
