Just a quick hello, I have been recommended to this website from a member of msuk. some may recognise the name
so I bought a little hubsan drone and have been flying it around the place and starting to get quite confident with it, but i'v always wanted a heli.
a bit of my history with helis have been the co axial infra red, 15.99 jobbies that are bomb proof but don't offer much in the way of advancement and flying outside was a huge no no, well so brief in fact it is now a roof ornament
so a few years past and i decide to buy a hubsan x4, and i can honestly say its the most fun I have had for very little money, within 10 flights i had it flying in expert mode wizzing about the place doing back flips etc.
Now I would really like to have another shot at heli flying but I'm a bit unsure where to start. I have read the beginners guide but would like a bit more Tailored advice.
So my end goal would be to master 3d flying. so should I start with a variable pitch helicopter ?
I would like to invest in a good tx, what would you recommend to use with my new heli / helis ? and flight simulator which leads me too...
flight simulator ? i have been trawling ebay to find the Phoenix sim and the price varies from £5- £100 for the same thing ?
so sorry for the long winded questions but i would like to make a decent attempt at this, and if that means buying a tx and sim and learning for some time that will have to be
many thanks, Frobs
