  • Blade MCX trimming?

    Hello,

    Complete novice here.

A while back my Mrs bought me a cheap bladez army helicopter toy for a laugh and I just loved it. Crashed it to death so I bought another and butchered the first for spares.

I just killed my third one, but before I did, I pretty much mastered it so instead of buying a fourth, I opted instead for a eflite Blade MCX.

My new MCX arrived today. It seems very fragile in comparisson to its predecessor but it's ace and I love it. Battery life is massively down on the old apache, so I already ordered another 6.

Anyway in terms of piloting that's where I'm at.

I'm currently trying to trim it, but don't seem able to get it bang on. By the time I do, my battery runs out and I need to re-bind the transmitter. Is that normal to have to re-bind each time? I'm thinking that I am doing something wrong and that's why I seem to be constantly trying to get the trim right.

    tips and advice gladly received...

Not too familiar with the eflite range but I'm sure others are and will be along soon enough..... is it a fixed pitch heli ?
    Cheers

      Stuart hi
You shouldn't have to rebind when you change the batterys. I have the msr and I switch on the transmiter DX7 then connect the battery and wait for the solid Blue light while not moving the heli . To change battery switch off transmitter then unplug

Cheers guys. I sorted the rebinding out by just making sure I unplug the battery on the mcx before turning off the transmitter. Seems to be working.

I seem to be getting to grips with trimming a bit more and i got one or two respectable take offs and landing before. I was made up. hehe

Stuart i believe it is a fixed pitch heli yes. It's a mini coaxial but it's leagues ahead of anything I have flown before.
