  • DX8 switch programming

Can anyone explain to an old fart how to program the switches on dx8 tx. I have read
the destruction over and over but nothing seems to coming into focus.
What I am trying to do is set the governor on Brain fbl to work with the flight mode
switch on TX and also to set the SR to gear switch on TX. If you can recommend any reading
or demo it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

Thanks waveydavey. yes I've done that the same but does not make any difference to the heli from what I can see. I'm using
Ikon, Brain gyro and I'm obviously missing something but can not see what. In the Brain set up you dial in the speed you want
for the fm switch 1,2, or 3 to get different head speeds and you should be able to see the speed in the software if all is working but
all I get is 0 so I do not know where to go from here. The esc I'm using is the YEP 150 amp maybe this option does not work with this esc.
Stumped at the moment. Anyway thanks again for your time. Cheers

I don't know the brain unit at all but the channel that the governor uses must be assigned the same so in the governor menu the channel for example Aux2 must be the channel the unit is looking for. I don't think the ESC matters if you aren't getting an output on the governor channel. Are you using an external sensor for the Brain

Well to be honest I sold the heli. It was to big and to heavy to fly in the small area I fly in. I have been thinking about getting
rid for a number of days. Being an old fart and not really understanding the ins and outs of the TX and the software for the Ikon
just made up my mind to let it go. I much prefer just pottering around with a 450. No enjoyment in a biggish heavy beast like
the Agile 5.5 . Thanks anyway for replying to my post
