  • New member. Which forum for me ?

    Hi all,

New member here, but not totally new to heli's ... my story so far, which I'm sure you can all relate to :-

Christmas 07 wife buys me a picoooz ( Big mistake! )
Next comes the co-ax ( medevac ) that I beat the living daylights out of ... bless it.

Then a Sabre, a budget heli when I only had budget experience ... not a good mix, on reflection it never had a chance of flying.

Now I have a skyartec Wasp v3 fp, and after doing lots of reading on balance, setup etc we're getting on fine ... It's very stable for it's size and has good spec for the money ... belt tail, hh gyro, b/l outrunner etc etc.

I was wondering if any of the forums here have a mention of this heli, because the only one's I've found so far are in the U.S. and I find it difficult to understand the language

    Cheers for now

Hi Inpar and welcome to the forum.

I've never heard of that particular heli, but I'm sure the experts here have or know connections with those who do.

Looks a nice heli from the site, see it comes in several flavours too, 4 or 6ch. Is it any good outdoors? Or only a calm weather flyer?

I only have the 4ch fp version, so the usual limitations in wind apply, but having said that the pitch is adjustable via the links to the pitch frame, but I don't feel ready to tackle the wind just yet.
From people I've spoken to the 6 ch cp performs well for such a small heli.
