Bit of a technical question.
Am changing from futaba to spectrum DX9
Can I use a futaba 401 gyro still and a total G gyro.

Yes to both systems. Always if your using expo it's opposite to futaba.

What spectrum receivers would be ok to use for the gyros and your post about expo mean.

6 channel 450, 500 upwards 6 ch full range On electric,and 7-8 channel on nitro, expo softens around the center. Most use on cyclics and defentily on rudder.
