    Ok first, Hi everyone
ok brought myself a x400 ep helicopter, i brought it with the metal added parts, the manual seems to be pants nothign saying what to do just pictures. ok what i would like to knwo as im abit of a cheapo, is gyro wise can i use a cheapo 10-20 quid gyro off ebay ? also servo wise does anyone know what cheao ones to get for my heli ?
another quicky about flying, when you are able to change the pitch on the main blade via use of servo doe this mean when you come to fly it you can put the revs at full and put the pitch up so you can take off ? with a electric one.
    Thanks alot

cheap stuff isn't a wise idea

    Best thing to do is:

Go join a local club and get some help

I agree, if you buy cheap then it usually will be frustrating for some reason!

However, you don't need to buy the best stuff, as long as its quality. Take this from someone who found the hard and expensive way!

yes mate it will get you off the ground!! servo's can be as cheap as £7.99. but as people are telling you ,you may regret fitting low spec gear!

as for applying full revs then pitch... no the channels are mixed and applied together!

Happily flying in your PRIVATE field when suddenly your CHEAP CRAP gyro (and probably cheap crap servos as well) does what it's suppose to, that is fail
Your heli is out of control and decides to violate air space BEYOND your PRIVATE field and crash land into an occupied pram...or anything else!!!

                      Happy flying
