    Hi. Mastered landing,going fwd back left,right, But how do i do a figure 8?...Cheers lads.

    Have you got the hang of hovering left and right side on and nose in yet? If not then that should be your next set of goals.

      Best tip I remember is always start with aileron. Let it fall into the turn then correct with rudder and elevator (adding a small amount of collective too). You ideally also need to be able to hover nose in or, at the very least, side in as you'll want to be comfortable in all these orientations for a successful figure 8.

        I started with what I called "lazy 8's". By that I mean starting to bring the nose around (about 45 degrees), but otherwise always keeping the tail roughly towards you. Then as you gain confidence, slowly increase the amount you bring the nose around until you're doing a "proper" figure-8.

        Hope that makes sense!

                  If you are thinking BMFA A Test then it is the lazy 8 you need not the figure 8, but if just flying generally, ignore me

                          I think BMFA are doing a special test for multirotors. Think it was in the lastest BMFA mag.
