  • Twister Gold CP - shaking servos

Hi. I have received heli Twister Gold CP from my brother. He bought is about 2 years ago on eBay as a "after crash". Now, I have opened box and tried to see what is broken, after that I switch on transmitter all looks good so I've connected Speed Controller into Battery (without motor connected) to see how servos runs and after few seconds servos started to shaking just same like on this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=krffjTD23V4 . What can I do with this ? Gyro failure ? Transmitter/receiver failure ? I'm using original radio.

Long time since i had one but gyro only controls tail, seems like something is interfering with cyclic servo's maybe...? have you tried in another area to see if it still does it.
Today's outlook is fine for flying.

Hi. Is this possible to change standard receiver to 2.4 GHz from this connected to this without any problems with gyro or something else ?

Hi there, no, that is wrong. The swash should go up, and watch, as it goes up, it will tilt the main blades up, thus making it lift. When the swash goes down, you'll see the blades pitch negatively, thus sucking/lowering it to the deck.
Have you tried reversing the throttle channel?

Yes, that's correct for the Twister.

Twister CP gold uses trailing edge pitch links like many other 450s, so swash moving down on pitch up is correct! Swash up is only for leading edge pitch links. ie. the swash moving down pulls down the back (trailing edge) of the blades, meaning that in effect, they pitch up.
