Hi I have tried a good selection of glasses and a lot reflect the sun of the inside if its getting low in the sky behind you. The rapid eye ware glasses are ok for the money but you have to swap the darker and lighter lenses as the light changes. My current fave pair that ive flown with and fished with for two years are SERENGETI-MAESTRALE which are really good and dim is it gets brighter so I can wear them all day when others are debating glasses on or off . The link is to ebay but they are advertised cheaper on-line . Don,t forget if you buy on line you can always send them back if they don't fit your purpose ..

I'd love to have a decent pair of shades but I'm such a clumsy doofas I can't risk spending £150 and either breaking or losing them lol

There are two requirements for glasses, keep the sun out (obvious) and brighten a dark day! The yellow lenses you see are amazing. If you fly near dusk or on cloudy days these will give you more confidence. Sometimes I remove mine and can't quite believe how dark it is!

Lidl or Aldi Sports glasses, come with the usual three lenses, about £3 or so a set including a case.

See no need for special 'model flying glasses' or famous name branded ones, (it's all b*ll*x) imho)

they probably all come out of the same factory in China anyway.

                              +1 for Rapid Eyewear

I prefer the Innovation Plus Prescription RC option below as the polarised lenses clip in as a pair and can be flipped up. I've removed the prescription frame as I don't need them... yet! But it's a great system if you do wear glasses.
