Hi All,
Woke up today to a lovely bright day. Having only recently joined the DMHC (Dorset Model Helicopter Club) I decided to pack my 6 lipos and my trex 450SE up in the car and have my first fly at the field (my first fly in any field actually).
When I arrived I was the only soul there so I let myself in and unpacked my gear. Installed my first battery and my flycamone2 into the trex. Did a range check and after everything checked out took her up.
I was very shaky to start with but after a short while found that the model didn't behave to dissimilar to the phoenix setup and soon calmed down.
Before I knew it the 5 mins were up and I brought her down to land.
5 batteries later and I was packing it all away and setting off back home.
All in all I had a cracking time and was very pleased that I was able to come away unscathed.
If any one is interested in the first flight then check out the footage of the flycamone2 [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Awn9cbhN3LU"]here[/ame]
Adrian.
