    I don't know about the other FBL units as I only ever had experience with Align 3gx.
    Thanks for that link. Learned something new today. Cheers for all the info. I suppose a 7+ tx will create more space by not having the receiver and also save weight. Is that the main reasons?

      You are welcome. I'm also trying to squeeze as much heli info in to my fat head lately

      You are not gonna save much on weight because you will be running 1 or 2 satellites instead but it would be much cleaner setup, less wires to hide etc... :-) Oh and its cheaper to buy one or 2 sats than full range receiver.

        3GX will run on 6 channel with a separate receiver (as already posted above, however confirmation is always good)

        7 channel is only if running the 3GX with a satellite

          But no other fbl unit requires 7 chanels to run, right?

            From what I gather they will work on 6 however you need a seperate receiver excluding beastX
