Need a flybar lock so I can set the pitch correctly on my blades. Can anyone help or can I make my own. Seems all shops are out of stock.

I made mine by cutting a blade caddy in half, then re-joining it with three sticks & glue, to make it the correct length to keep the flybar parallel to boom.
      Trev
Lots of different things that fly

And happy to have FOUR shiny EGS

Oh I see, cut horizontal and use the sticks to make it taller. Cheers for that.

Nice flying mate and you're way beyond needing that silly training gear any longer. If anything the training legs will cause vibrations and could cause you to lose control. The training balls are just used for getting from the take off stage to hover and landing. You're doing FF and looks to be quite fast FF there so bin em off mate

Yeah I took them off the next session but I smashed the heli as my wooden blades split in flight doing flips. Which I wasn't aware they would break. Just waiting on a few parts and got some nice align carbon blades.
Going to use the 500 to practise hovering and moving forward and backward left and right in real control and straight I tried to do a half piro flip on the sim yesterday ehich resulted in me almost dying in laughter at my attempt. Was a million miles off lol.

Got the 500 now. Can't wait to have a go. Looked a bit intimidating tho, the seller flew it for me twice so I could see it fly. Flies lovely and smooth and very powerful.

                      Hiya buddy,

Was just going through those videos of you on the 450 and somehow those blades seem to be off track, at some points. Now, forgive me if that was my error from the video - its' just that it looked so from certain angles. Then again - that might explain why they broke off(???)? In fairness, wooden blades do have their limitations!

Anyways, my point is... have a look at that when you're resetting her up and the 500 too.

                      Flyings' coming well!

                      Cheers,

Yes they were out I recall, but at the time I was just hovering, then I forgot about the tracking when I started to be more adventurous. It prob was the reason my blades failed, and once I've fixed her and reset the heli I will be paying attention to this area. The 500 is setup great, saw it flying last night and it's smooth as hell and locked in tight

But I've forgotten my flight box (working away for a week) so I have no battery adapters for connections. So it's turned into an ornament until next week.

Do I just alter one of the pushrod links from swash to blades to make them track together? Cheers.
