  • Swash plate frequency

Could someone please explain to me what swash plate frequency is. Also tail frequency. I am trying to program
a beastx clone (Turnigy 3d-h) gyro and am not sure what the term means, My cyclic servos on a 450 are Savox and tail is Align DS525M.
Any thoughts would be most welcome. Just one more thing if I may, where is the cheapest place to buy a fbl head
for this 450 apart from HK. Thanks in advance.

It's the drive frequency of the signal controlling the servo. Some servos can run higher frequencies which equates to finer resolution but too high a frequency can fry the servo.

I think this is the list you need; -= BEASTX - BE ABSOLUTE STABLE =-

It is the frequency of the servos and what they are used on, try here it should help you,

your align tail servo should be on 333hz and the Savox cyclic servos on around 200hz, but just check the graph above.

That sheet says V3 and I'm pretty sure the 3D-H is the same as BeastX version 1 but someone with direct experience on this might chime in to confirm. (and it may be the same in both versions anyway, I haven't checked)

All depends the 3D-H is also available in BeastX V3, the led colour may be different though as V1 didn't have flashing LED's from memory. I'll take a look

It should not make a difference what version it is as the frequency will be the same, as it's the frequency of the servo not the BeastXBeastX

Thanks guys for the info. I knew how the servos work but I did not know the terminology used in the set i.e swash plate frequency. If it had
said cyclic servo frequency I think I would have twigged. Getting old in the tooth I'm afraid. Thanks again.

Its not so much that but the corresponding LED that represents the frequency, here the V1 Servo List

Thanks for that info waveydavey. I'm almost bamboozled now lol What with Chinese instructions, Malaysian graphics and
English subtitles I need a degree in misunderstanding if you get my drift. I'm sure when it's set up it'll crash
just as good as the last one LOL. Thanks again.

If your 3D-H says V2 on it then it's V3 BeastX if it's the original then it's V1. Use the corresponding BeastX instructions rather than the ones the unit comes with and you'll be good to go.
