  • first time out with hirodo

hi all im new to this hobby and really wish I had started a long time ago. I recently bought a hirobo shuttle plus from a guy on gumtree had to do a couple of small bits to it but I went out yesterday for the first time.I think it must have been the most iv shook in a long time.I didnt manage to get it of the ground as such more of a bouncing up and down im glad I got the training gear on it and even that started to come apart so I gave up before my nerves gave up . I think ill give it another try when there is a bit less wind.I think its going to take a some time before im even hovering but a little practise when the sun is out and im sure ill get there.

Well done on ya first flight. I remember mine. I started in a car park. I also never got airborne but was skidding all over the place. Just watch out that when u do get off the ground that the training legs don't start to resonate. It they do land straight away. I tried plasticine weights on the legs bit they still tried to shake my copter to bits. In the end I ditched em and learnt without them. Through lack of knowledge I was running a really low head speed that made it really docile.
