What 450?

I have built a HK450gt pro2 heli and want to replace some parts with the Align ones. What Align helicopter parts
will fit this HK heli and what model Align is it a copy of. There are some many different models from Align I am totally confused .I am interested in the boom box with the belt drive for the tail.
I keep buying the wrong one. Any help would be most gratefully received. Thanks.

I went looking but didn't see any pics of that model. If it's a belt tail then it pretty much has to be either the Align Sport or SE style I would think. If you can post a good photo I would imagine someone will know.

I've had a couple of the Align 450 Pro clones from hobbyking but because the belt drive is particular to their own version, you wont find an Align boom box to fit (only sport and SE versions).
If you want to go Align on the tail, you'll have to upgrade the entire unit to torque tube.

I've seen used 450 pro airframes on here in the past for less than the price of those upgrades, its probably best to stick with what you've got and when a good used Align 450 comes along, you can port your electronics accross...

You are right...I learnt the hard way. Don't buy clones. Half my business comes from people upgrading clones with genuine Align parts. Hmmmm, actually I've changed my mind...EVERYBODY BUY CLONES! :-)

Thanks to all replies and info. The Align sport boom box will not fit. So it's HK or go torque tube. Thanks. I buy clones because it's a money thing. I haven't got any lol.
I've enjoyed the HK helis. Maybe they are not as good as the big brand names but I've learned to fly with them and no the spare parts did not cost as much as one big brand heli.

Why doesn't the align boom fit? I have a hk450gt pro with an align sport boom...

The boom will fit but he wants an Align boom box, belt version for the pro which, they don't make.

You're right, i don't know what i was thinking... But, why do you want align boom box? Hk doesn't work fine?
I'm a hk guy myself...
