  • Align Spare's are great value

Just been to Midland Helicopter's site earlier this afternoon while going through some spares prices with Pip, and I've brought loads of spares in preparation of up coming learning crashes, spare booms, Feathering shafts, main shafts, rear fins (carbon Jobie's) etc, even a nice painted Align canopy.

What amazing value with two or three of the same in each pack, like my new blades the Align 325 pro's (red) £8.99 for some super duper well cool main blades.

And the range and choice is amazing, I'm looking forward to blinging up my Trex, learning how and where the parts come off and on, Pip's giving me plenty of (there with you) advise, it's amazing, building these little devils is very modular and reminds me of my PC building days, but millions more times fun.

My 450 flys like a dream Pip kindly added Hitec servos and he had her hovering in my livingroom today, fantastic!!!! she performed better than the one on Phoenix.

I'm off the Wyton's gym tomorrow evening all being well and I'm like a cat on hot bricks, Clare's already calling herself a helicopter widow lol, cos if I'm not reading on here its the mags or Phoenix

We had some really strong Northerly winds today and Micheal managed to keep her steady despite the wind, she was fighting but kept well on to of things, a little to risky for me even if I had five foot length training gear legs lol, a bit off a pee off with the weather, but better safe then sorry.

Sorry to sound like a big kid, life's too short to grow up.

Thanks Jim, Mark, that's a beautiful helicopter you have there mate, but if the worst does happen at least you have piece of mind that a simple replacement of broken parts puts her back as good as new.

I've only ever seen one 600 fly live and what a head turner she was too.

                    Hi Jim,

I really like it for what it's given me. I got into heli's through wanting something i could fly in my living room that was the size of a picooz but flew more like a real heli. I found the Buzzfly and it ticked all the right boxes. Research told me that it was a bugger to fly and only really suitable for experienced flyers. This only added to the appeal as i like a challenge. I looked at the contra models but they just don't do it for me as the flight system is not conventional. The buzz flies just like any bigger fixed pitch heli just in small scale. The size makes it skittish but there are some mods you can do to give it very reasonable stability. The model is a re branded Walkera 4#3 but the buzzfly version is very well presented and comes with a nicer livery both canopy and tx. The electrics are tempremental and it is a little fragile but spares are cheap and always come next day from buzzflyer. i enjoy tinkering with it in the evenings and it is great fun to fly. It has given me a good insight into the mechanics of heli's and inspired me to go onto larger helis too.

I was told if i could fly the buzz well i could fly anything.... i'm getting on well with my 600 so it's done me some good. still love it too for when emmerdale or some other rubbish is on!!!
