Well.
I've trawled many forums, followed all sound advice from V6 easy copter, 2.4ghz tx plus Phoenix flight sim, then onto Twister 3D storm. Joined a club, found a great model shop (Avicraft, Bromley) worth the plug......
Hovered in the garden twice & went to new club today.
A bit windy - my eyes were streaming facing into the wind....
But did three batteries learning hovering, met a great bunch of helpful folks & didn't feel intimidated.
When does that tight clenching feeling go? I didn't realise my buttocks/stomach was capable of being so tight!!!! Stop leaning right - I'm not really flying it!!!!!!
Learning to hover is one thing. Anticpating & dealing with wind (pun intended) is quite antother.
Well & truely hooked.
