Just a query about the speed controller that sits next to the battery, i did 4 batteries worth of hovering this morning in the garden 1st 3 lipos everything was fine then about 3-4mins into the 4th lipo it felt like the power to the blades was being restricted or something was causing interference it was impossible to keep a steady hover as it felt like the power was being flicked on and off like a switch.
I got her landed safely and took the battery out thinking some things not quite right as i was only 3-4 mins on a new fully charged 2200 mah, while taking the lipo off i touched the heatsink that sits on top of the unit which was very very hot to touch and was wondering if this could have caused the issue i seemed to of had?
I put the lipo on charge which did not take too long to reach fully charged with the charger showing all 3 cells and nothing un towards going on.
Batteries on the DX7 are also healthy
Do you guys leave x amount of mins before the next flight to let things cool a little or should that not be a concern?
cheers
