TREX 450 SE V2 + Futaba R606FS

Ok, I know this is a silly question but here goes.....

Which way do the servo leads go into the RX? They will go in both ways without any force and I know enough to know that can't be right so is it PIN UP or PIN DOWN (as you look at the little black plug on the end of the servo lead) and having Chnl 1 to the top on the RX.

The signal wire goes nearest the notch in the receiver plug hole.
Signal wire is white or orange depending on servo brand etc.
