  • Wow! - Wah !!!

I'd got a GAUI EP100 SE Pro to go with an EP100 3-blade that I really like.

I'd been struggling with the SEP, but having put on some GAUI Eppler blades (along with the supplied 'stability weights'), and sorted a flybar issue, it was flying really nicely for a novice like me.

It's not a million miles from a BCX2 with the servo linkages on '3', and I'm happilly flying it wothout training gear (but with an 'anti-topple spar').

    Then it all goes wrong

I've had a recurrent problem with the Rx losing power, and the heli coming down. http://www.rcheliaddict.co.uk/showth...336#post124336 .

It did this a couple of times, and now has broken undercarriage. That's easlilly replaced, but I've still got the underlying cause with the electrics.

On the plus side, once I've sorted that, I know how to put together a 100CP heli that I can fly indoors (I was fighting the urge to (try and...) land it on a desktop). This really feels like it will be great.

I'd appreciate some input om the Rx thread above. (Like how do you power an Rx in a nitro heli - ie independnet of the ESC.)

If anyone is interested in these sub-micro helis, I'll happily spout about my experiences so far - some of which might actually be useful.

BTW, the screws in the rotorhead came threadlocked. Class.
