  • inverted flight....

    Guys,

Had a great few hours at the site with the 500 Rolling inverted and holding it longer and longer.... But how do you keep it moving forward i was using the speed to keep it going and rolling out as it slowed down inverted I rolled the right way up.

So whats the input to keep it moving forwards

Flying towards you - to turn left you would add right aileron.
Flying away from you - to turn left you would use left aileron.

          Cheers,

            Okay.....

Roll inverted back elevator as required and back on throttle/pitch as required....

Traveling past me from left to right (so going to do a left hand circuit) ...

Left aileron then and I suspect left rudder as well ?

You'll probably find you won't need to use much rudder, but that depends on how much it gets banked over I guess.
Left is correct for that way around.
                Cheers,

left rudder is not correct for that way round!!!

you need right rudder when you are inverted and have banked the heli left!
(much like flying backward the right way up!!!)
