  • Do I have a gyro?

    Hi all, greetings from Spain.

I bought a helicopter from my friend without giving it much thought, but after a few goes I am totally hooked! I can hardly get it off the ground at the moment but reading posts on this sight is giving me more confidence and the realisation I will have to stick in there and not give up.

The helicopter is a Kai Zheng KZ999 which I think he got direct from China. I've studied it to try and figure out how it works and what does what and I think I understand it except for one thing. The box says it has a gyro but I can't find anything described as such with the instruction leaflet or actually see anything that it could be on the helicopter itself.

My question is what does a gyro look like and where would I find it? Pretty basic I know but it's got me foxed!

    Saludos,

    Huggie

I can't be 100% sure because I have never seen a "Kai Zheng KZ999" but looking at pics of it I would guess it has a 4-in-one type board. This is a single circuit board that has a receiver, bec, gyro and esc's all located on the same little PCB.

Thanks, info on it like that seems hard to come by.

Have attached a link to what it (mostly) looks like. Mine seems to be a mixture of two models.
