Practice, practice and more practice. Collective pitch Helis are much harder to fly than fixed pitch. Maybe just put the MSRX aside and just concentrate on getting to grips with the MCPX as you'll find it a lot harder to fly it if you've been flying the fixed pitch heli and getting used to it being easy to fly.

Keep at it mate it will come, make sure u check over the parts on the mcpx after u crash to see if everything is moving as it should. Mcpx are tough little helis though. If u have a sim hammer it if u havnt get one and enjoy!:-)

The only thing I have done is set the pitch to 0 at mid stick would this make a difference to how it flys

I'll be honest I find my mcpx a lot harder to fly than my bigger heli's, they do take loads more abuse but still can bend or brake parts, a quick once over to check feathering shaft, links and servos, just check blades too, if you have crashed you may of damaged one, slightest little nic and she will be different. If you can, try a sim or better still a 130 or 450 size heli, put some training skids on and have a go hovering that, but make sure you try in OPEN SPACE, not your living room, we have all been where you are, just percavire and don't get disheartened, once you get the nac you will love it.

Well I have been messing about today I re bound it and changed the blades and it has made it a little better I think the room is to small for me to learn this heli even though I can fly the msrx around it no probs

i have Also been on the sim with a mcpx and it seems solid as a rock on there I can hover no probs even hands off so is nothing like my model

I may just have to wait till I can get out side to try it. There is also a local club not far from me but they are not flying till the weather pics up it the nehc just at Washington so will go along one day

Hey Mark, have you tried dumbing down the settings on DX6i, what settings are you using for dual rate/ expo, what pitch/throttle curve? Are you struggling because it is too flitty or is it steaming off in one direction and not holding steady. It is a struggle in a tight space to control these little buggers, they are so quick that it's easy to overcompensate inputs as you try to catch up with them. Dumb it down for now till you get used to hovering with confidence again.

Good advise parksy, you need to check settings and fly outside. I have a cellar which I'm turning into a cinema room and stil don't fly the little buger in it, as slightest stick input and away it goes. You need space mate defo

Year I have dumbed it right down now D/R 50% and expo +30% and am doing ok in the living room now. I have been outside with it today but it is still to windy it blew away and snapped the tail motor off so I will spend the afternoon messing about fixing it again haha
