How much of a wobble? Does the resonance of the balls shake the heli about...or is it just the balls shaking a bit? The issue is "resonance" and IIRC there is little you can do to fix it...except progress and get rid of them.
A more experience flyer might have some better advice...hopefully

I just made up a set of training gear for a m8 that consisted of the normal flimsey one inside a slightly thicker carbon tube. Was able to make it slightly longer and a lot stiffer. It helps with the vibes and also gives a lot more protection.
Just as well and he would have killed the heli at least twice this pm!

Best thing you'll ever do is getting shot of them as soon as you can. Once you are hovering ok you should dump them. Sooner the better honest

I had mine resonate at a certain head speed ... I used to punch through it and get it above it and it was ok after that initial wobble ... mind u i only had training undercarriage on for bout 3 flights lol ....

Wise words as usual from Phil.Originally posted by Smoothound View PostBest thing you'll ever do is getting shot of them as soon as you can. Once you are hovering ok you should dump them. Sooner the better honest
I found the trainer caused more vibration & instability, but were there as reassurance for the first few hovers.
Once off - so much smoother and controllable. It's all about having the balls to remove the balls.
Happy Landings.
