I was thinking about a T Rex 450... They seem to be not too intimidating, but a good middle step to something bigger. The skills you learn on something that size transfer up to bigger heli's. Also, spares are readily available for when you crash.. And you will! Now, I am talking from the findings of my own research and not masses of experience. Sounds like you and I are at a similar stage! lol. Good luck!

As above. Mcpx and a sim.
Then you can try flying your 90 size in the sim and realise just what a killing machine that really is
I have to say it's one of the most diverse choice of first helis - a micro and a 90 !
Please don't even try to set up the 90 without a lot of local help
Good luck thoughHappy Landings.

I am going to play the devil's Advocate and suggest you skip the 450 size if you were going there and go directly to the 500 which adds that bit of extra stability but then again I always recommend bigger helis anyway.Originally posted by M Nala View PostI was thinking about a T Rex 450... When the blue light is flashing I am kidding.
Why simplify when it is so much simpler to complicate.
