Timer on DX6i

Ive set up a 7 minute timer. Does anyone know how to kick off the countdown. I thought it was one of the switches but Im not having any joy. Just had a nice cold flight in my very small garden brrrrr

Hi

You have to allocate a switch or button from the Timer menu.

You also need to tell it to count either up or down.

On mine I set it to the Throttle cut button. (Trex)

You then press it to start the count down.

By default its set on the Trainer switch and will count down. Mine came with a blade 400 kit, so if its an off the shelf tx then as above it might have to be assigned and programmed.
