Bind n fly means pretty much that. All you need to do is bind heli to your tx and off you go! i.e receiver is included with the heli.
What do you mean trainer site? sorry for being a bit thick haha. Anything you want to know, you will get an answer on here(apart from your second one ) I doubt there is a more friendly and knowledgeable bunch of guys and girls on the net!
    Welcome anyway!!
    Cheers,

In the old days you used 35mhz or similar RC control. Then a transmitter could control and receiver around with the same crystals frequency.

Nowadays we use 2.4ghz which is digitally coded so as to not interfere with another model. If you buy a model with an inbuilt receiver you have to 'bind' (match) your transmitter so that the receiver only obeys that transmitter.

Phoenix and Realflight do the simulators these days. Horses for courses.

If you still have the Raptor it's still a valid heli to fly these days.

        Good luck
        Happy Landings.

Get to a local club with a good heli contingent al ready flying, they will as the members on here be able to guide you through the learning curve and advise on radio and heli etc, also it may be worth trying a lesson using instructors equipment. this will give you a good idea of how the hobby has progressed, anyway welcome back happy flying
