  • Great success !!

    Dear fellow members ,

Thought I should share this with everyone, after a long day of work finally did the blade tracking (tried my best to get it accurate), I just could not stop myself from taking the heli out for a quick trial and try hovering it. So put the training gear on and I was amazed to see that the Heli actually hoverd!!!!

it started raining so i had to pack up, but the heli got nice n clean from the shower since i was not using a canopy.....so got home quickly and turn the table fan on to let the water dry. But now it looks all shiny and no signs of dust or dirt.

I wanted to thank all the people who helped me in the last min and apologies for all the annoying desperate questions. really appreciate all the advice and support guys.. very excited will make my way early morning if the weather permits. i just think the heli is not 100% accurately set, but least i can hover for now and gonna keep me away from asking all the stupid questions...but feels really good to see the heli hover

    Thnk you once again peeps,

    md

dont fan next time - just let it dry, ro you risk melting or burning something - those electronics have operating temperatures specced for a reason smaller things like wet phone can go into rice bag.

congrats, and you'll see you'll be flying inverted in no time

Well done mate. Nothing like the feeling of your first hover, knowing YOU did that. Ok, you had some help off here, but it's not the same as someone else building and testing it first.
Now take the bull by the horns and get all your orientations done, I regret being too impatient to get close control fully down, before hooning around the sky!! It's holding me back a little now, especially backward and inverted flying and I've been flying for 16 months .
            Good luck!!

Ditto, but hooning around is so much fun.... . I have Mattie-lodge telling me I need to get back to basics otherwise I could get in a rut, and I'm sure he's right. So Md001, start getting the practice in, but don't forget to have fun as well.
