Same as previous comment , I always use the OS no.8 plug and I have never had any problems.

I would use a heli fuel 15-20% nitro any brand will be fine

have you flown b4? or at least used a sim? if no please make sure you get heli checked (if you don't know how to your self but im sure you've done your home work) if not fire a few q's here all the best terry

            Welcome

Do you know what? Do not start that thing up until someone who knows the score has a good look over it and is with you.

A nitro on a hot-start is not at all funny. Some serious power and potential to maim.

Join a club is the best advice ever - and often - given on this forum.

Good luck and welcome to the hobby.
            Happy Landings.

theres a club on the other side of Northampton NN7 1EP close to that post code called mk heli club and they are all a cracking bunch there and would imagine they would be more than willing to help. its about 40 mins away but there could be some 1 local to you that could help.

I would help you but quite far away but if you wanna day trip im more than willing to pass on what knowledge I have and teach you how to test and set up but fly sim or an mcpx will help

p.s I don't recommend you fire it up and if you do hold on tight to the head do not let go and have the blades removed (but it will be totally pointless no matter how much you want to your local shop might fire it up for you if you really desperado

Apart from the dangers mentioned a hot start if you model is not setup correctly can burn your clutch out too.
