  • Phoenix 4 sim

Hi everyone, will the Phoenix 4 sim work with my DX4e?

If so where can I get the cable that goes from transmitter to the laptop, as the offered sim dose not have one. Dog chewed it up...

    Thanks

I believe it will, best check with Phoenix Phoenix model flight simulation :: Support and/or Horizon Hobby.
When you say the "offered" sim, do you mean a second hand CD? That would be a dodgy copy, Phoenix is licenced software and the copy protection is built into the cable/dongle - available from Phoenix

I've heard that Phoenix might change the cable at a cost if you send the old one to prove it a gen copy.

I use a DX4e, not the best Tx to use with it as you can't change pitch curves or assign any of the switches to throttle hold but it works. If the dog chewed your dongle then send it in to Phoenix and see if they can repair it

He said he has no need for it any more, I thought that I could get a lead (he's dog eat it) and use it..

Can I get one from phoenix, does anyone know?

You can but the lead as a spare part

edit : No you can't just looked on the website you will have to buy a new one complete unfortunately, thats why if you have the old one, as long as they can reclaim some of it you can have it repaired for £15
