  • Sick as a Parrot!

Just been down the local club indoor meet, my son, who's 22, and has shown no interest whatsoever in helis, asks if he can come.

    "Yeah, of course" says I.

After 30 mins it happens, "Can I have a go?

"Sure" says me, and proceeds to explain the DX6i, and how to fly a heli. Sets up the Twister Bell47.

Puts it on the floor, no training gear!

    I forgot,

He spools her up, slides it around the floor, for about 30 seconds...

We all know what happens next!

Yes, off the floor she comes, about 4ft, does a quick pirouhette, and then proceeds to show how to fly her!

I must be a fantastic teacher! 30 seconds instruction and he can do what its taken me 10 weeks! ...........2 battery packs!

    I hate youngsters!

    The B400 beat him tho!

      Best of luck to him.

I hope it's started a lifelong interest in the hobby. Buy him a Trex600....

      Great story.

I'll be honest when I read the first bit that's what I thought, nice twist in the tail (oops sorry for the pun).
