what he said ^^^^^ .. oh and get insurance .... bmfa ya really are better of joining a club as ya don't have to fly on ya own .. which i dont recommend with helis and ya get the crack of having a laff with a club as well ...

The heli will try and tip to whichever side the rotors are spining is because of the ground effect ... IF ya look for finless bobs videos he goes into about setting radios up for flying and he does it for eccpm but most of it apllies to mechanical mixing as well .... Sorry to hear hardly ne clubs and lack of heli pilots up there ...opps found it hehe http://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=41692

Andy, in terms of finding a club drop a guy on here called Dashik a quick pm, I'm pretty sure he's up near you and is setting up a new club. Also we have the SAA rather than the BMFA so have a look at www.saaweb.org as you might find other suitable clubs on there. Andy

oooooops, it's amazing what a missing .uk will do to a url, that'll teach me for using my PDA to post...

                      The proper address is http://www.saaweb.org.uk/index.php

But it might be worth making a note of the other one
