  • Trimming Issue.

I have noticed with my Rapi Titan; if i trim the heli to hoover correctly, it wants to pitch up in forward flight and when fling backwards it wants to role to the left. Is this normal?

The swash plate looks level, but i had to add a bit of left and back cyclic to achieve trim at the hover. The heli is set up as per the manual, but seems a little nose heavy.

This has been puzzling me for a while and i just want to know if this is the norm or whether something is not right with my set up.

    Thanks in advance

Sounds like a Centre of Gravity problem to me.

Using the standard Black padles, would i be better off with some others?

No not really, check that they are aligned properly with the flybar cage/arms. And also that both the paddles and flybar cage/arms are level with the swash. Failing that id say check your centre of gravity, move some stuff about or weight the light end. I have exactly the same problem on my raptor 30 v2. Ive never bothered doing anything about it. I just trimmed it for forward flight as thats what i was mostly doing. I dont like the idea of adding weight to the model.
