I know it's not exactly close but I'll mention anyway, Epsom Downs is only a tenner to join so it's an option if perhaps you travel that direction anyway etc. Flying is 7 days a week when there's not a race or other event happening. Home

Eynesford is just down the road from me so I will try to get down there some time soon.
What days do they have flying and is it just Heli's? Are I/C allowed?

It's busy sat and sun usually. Flying is 6 days a week, Mondays off except bank holidays. All models types are allowed. And yes, heli's only

@Ritchieme I am between sevenoaks and maidstone, been having a look around on the net to see what clubs are out there, are you part of any and what can you recommend.

              Cheers
I go to eynsford club, its an excellent and friendly club, a couple miles from brands hatch, a bit of a distance for you but worth it :-)

They fly every day except Monday, it's a heli only club, i go there normally from about 3pm to 7pm most days (including today) while we have the weather. There are some excellent pilots to watch as well as fly yourself. A great bunch, if you want to come down any time PM me and you can come as a guest, I will arrange to meet you there, you wont be disappointed.

I won't have a heli till late next week so no flying for me yet
I am free today (saturday) as my miss's is working so I will pop over after lunch for a look round.
Give me a clue how I'll find you or PM me your mobile.
Looks like its going to be a scorcher.

Ha, I am an old git as well. It has taken me a year to be able to fly my 600 and my 450 (the 130 doesn't count as it keeps breaking). I can now do nose in, rough circuits and 8's. Still a long way to go though. I am enjoying every minute, except the crashes.

                                Hi All,
Just a reminder we do fly till 8pm, but there is height restriction that comes into force for any model larger than 450 size machine, from 5pm on week days and 4pm on weekends,

As to guest flyers, we welcome guests of members, but our club rule when it comes to guest flyers is
                                "
Guest flyers are permitted to fly on 5 separate occasions under the invite of a club member, the method of invite is with the permission of 2 committee members, the guest flyer mus have proof of BMFA insurance and the club member issuing the invitation must be present and supervise all flights."

                                Simon
Is that your membership form I recieved today ?
