I would like to thank everyone on the forum for all the great advice over the last few months. Only had a cx2 for 8 weeks and have just sold it on E-Bay and ordered a T-Rex 500 cf with blades from Leeds Model Shop. Will be needing more advice over the coming weeks when i need to order servos etc. As my radio is now sold with my cx2 and my phoenix practice has stopped any advice about which radio to buy. Don't want to spend more than £150.

I'd go for a Spektrum DX7. 2.4 ghz a touch over your budget but well worth it IMHO.
No crystal or lock out worries and plugs straight into Pheonix.
    Cheers, Lee.

150 wont get you much. you want 2.4gig so your pretty much limited to the spektrum dx6i and futaba 6exh 2.4.

personally i think i would try and find a second hand DX7

Must agree here, Why buy yesterdays technology when you are looking from scratch and can buy 2.4Ghz.

Just not worth going 35meg now.

Hi found this on ebay its a DX7 without rx or servos but might be on option for someone.
(wish I could snap it up myself but can't afford it at the moment!!)

This also seems like very good value!
