traning gear quistion need help

ok i see alot of people start out with traning gear now if i put it on beeing that it adds weight i wonder if it will not allow the chopper to take of realy fast or will it just let me practice hovering. i guess the quistion is if i have those on is there i need to be scared of the heli shooting up in the air on me with those on learning to fly a bigger heli
