I remember the Gohbee from when I just started flying and then I didn't see anything about them
and figured they went out of business. The frames are copied from the Raptor and then they used
a different rotorhead and apparently a belt driven tail vs the Raptor's torque tube.

It 'should' be the same size as the Raptor 90 and weigh about 5 kilos ready to fly without fuel.
If it weighs much more than that then it is indeed heavy.

I'd be curious to see a 'where are they now' thread somewhere with info about what happened to
      some of these brands.

I have never heard of DNHP. It looks interesting the way parts of the frame and rotorhead seems to be matching anodised gold / copper
colour against the black ali or carbon. The canopy looks a bit like a JR.

It does have a JR Canopy on it because it's the only one I could find to fit this Massive Helicopter Frame

Here's a couple more Pic's of it Naked

                Ely-Q Vision 50

I also see you have a Ely-Q Vision 50 Ultimate

what are your thoughts on this Bird ?
I have one I have not built as of yet
it's got a Weird Head Design, sliding upward to change the Pitch on the Mains
I hear they have some Vibration Issues ??

                  cheap & cheerful
but, as so often, it's mostly about the pilot's skills, not the heli's capabilities.

Well, the Vision Ultimate seems to be the heli that folks over here love to hate
I think this is mainly due to some materials issues on the early kits and it took the
company some time to sort them out.

My experience has been only positive though. I never had any of the issues
that other reported and I have used it as my inexpensive 'beater' heli to try
new moves with and stuff. But it has just taken everything thrown at it and
                    comes back for more.

The floating flybar arrangement is kinda cool. This had been done before
but Ely.Q has taken the ball and run with it.

The only gripe I have is that the design of the swash causes a lot of
inaccuracy due to the inner swash links not being on the same horizontal
plane as the outer swash. So you get all sorts of interactions as well as
phasing errors. If you do mad 3D type flying where you must make
constant corrections anyway then this may not be an issue. I tried
lots of things to get it to fly straighter and the one mod that ended
up being the silver bullet was going flybarless using a Beast X. The
stock rotorhead is very easy to modify for FBL so it only costs the
price of the flybarless unit to convert it.

(my other gripe is that it is chronically tail-heavy but mine now almost
balances properly after doing everything in the book to move the weight
                    forward)

It's the new 'plastic fantastic' and is inexpensive and it's not going
to impress anyone with its looks but what I like about it is that it is
very low parts count, it's very simple, if you keep the frame screws
snug and keep it maintained it is a reliable little heli you can use
                    for everyday slinging about.

That's my experience anyway. (and I actually kinda like the way it
                    looks as well).

Here's a pic of mine converted to flybarless next to my Raptor 50.

'Glad you like the zebra canopy! That was my experiment to see how a design would work that intentionally
ignored the pointed shape. I have another one painted in a pumpkin orange that is a bit more visible
                        on cloudy days.

I have to say, I got the Beast X largely just to see what all the fuss was about and in the case of the
Ely.Q it does make it fly very straight and goes where it is pointed. But It doesn't make me want to
go convert my whole fleet, I am quite content that my flybarred helis work just fine as they are.

I have been running 15% nitro in all my nitro helis and that suits me well enough for the moment.
                        The specs on the Ely.Q are;
OS50 Hyper with CY MP2 pipe
Ace RC DS1015 servos on the swash
Arizona reg and relion 2600mah RX pack
                        Beast X 'microbeast'
                        Futaba S9254 tail servo
I was using a pair of RJX main blades and they worked quite well but I just broke them doing a
forward flip and bogging the head too much too low to the ground and the blades were
actually the only casualty :-( I tried some standard 600mm Radix as well but not a huge
difference. I have yet to try any dedicated FBL blades.
