Any flyers in the Geneva area?

I am just taking up the hobby and would appreciate finding people in the Geneva area that are willing to share their experience and skills. I know a guy close to Nyon whom has been very helpful and would love to see who else is around. I am thinking about joining the versiox model club (VMC) next year to get lessons and to join a group of like minded people, the challenge is learning to fly in French

I only have the mSRX and 130X at present but I am itching to buy something like a trex 500 next year and move into scale helis (3d looks cool but I like building).

It is indeed and the views of the alps are always there to remind you of ski season. I am hoping heli's crash well in snow this winter I wonder if I skis work on a small heli

Living over the border certainly saves hard earned money when it comes to hobbies, the import duties into Switzerland are a killer on the wallet.

I may reach out early next year and see if your interested in giving some lessons/advice, if you do not mind off course ?

Overall I would say it is better here and when it is snowing you just drive to where the snow is best in fairness, grid lock happens here when a snow flack lands as well but a little 4x4 and a set of chains sorts that ok quickly enough.
