Trex 600 tails

I've just finished rebuilding my 600 ESP and have been running edge 603 mains and 95 tails.

I don't have anymore 95s here but have a pair of 105s.

Is it safe to run 105 tails on a 600 ?? So I can test it tomorrow

As long as you can keep the tail off the deck Don I reckon they'll be okay. No more load than on a 700 as it's the same hub.

check the clearance Don I think you might be tight and could end up the mains hitting the tails

I put 105 0n 600e pro and pretty close but been ok and that lower than my esp is

Clearance is questionable so i may not risk as a boom strike is my main concern. It clears the floor by about 10 mm ImageUploadedByTapatalk1365893537.764218.jpgi forgot to mention I'm running a DFC head too

Too close that Don. If you draw a line where the arc of the tail blades are it over laps the main blades and any flex in them say full neg and full back elevator and its confetti time

ummm, the 600e dfc comes with 105mm tails doesnt it?... Im sure mine did before I destroyed them

Ah I think you are right. It came with them, but I think they were an upgrade.

There are threads on runryder and helifreak about this with mixed responses, most people appear to have no problems, but there have been some reported tail strikes

I have some 95's knocking about, they just arnt edges or aligns.

If you want something to 'make do' for tomorrow let me know and I will dig them out when I get home tonight after work.
