450 Pro Tail Blade Recommendations for Newbie

Hi all,
Recommendations for tail blades please. Currently have Curtis Youngblood CF but i think these are quite expensive? Best compromise between quality and cost as I will probably get through a few for the first few weeks! Also do I need to balance tail blades the same as main blades?

Bright plastic KBDD tail blades work very well and are cost effective.

Stock 450 pro tail blades work great - no need for carbon on a heli this small, unless you like to bling it up .

If you want more visible ones than KBDD would be better, just make sure you get the 61mm PRO style ones such as these:

There is no need to balance tail blades these days I find, the 450 PRO also has a lower tail RPM which means vibrations are a very low chance. If you want to check the balance you need an accurate gram scale such as a 0.00g scale.

+1 on the KBDD blades. I run bright orange ones on my 450 and 500. There cheap work great and look really good as well.

Laurence whats the difference between the 61mm blades and the standard 450 blades. Ive never noticed the 61mm ones before.

As the 450 pro has a lower tail rpm than other 450s it needs larger tail blades. Standard 450 tail blades are smaller and will not hold as well.
