    105mm Edge LE-105 or LE-105SE

    Guys,

    I have had a horrible vibrating sort of noise coming from my Trex 700e after around a minute of flying, and also I lost a screw in the slider due to what I believe would be vibration; so after much stripping and checking and finding nothing obvious, it was suggested that there has been instances of the new style Align 3D tail blades having/causing a problem.

    I cannot see anything wrong with my pair, they are exactly the same weight and balanced as best you can check with a normal pivot type stationary balancer, there are no cracks or seam fractures....

    I borrowed a set of Edge tails (Cheers Mattie) and ran a couple of flights using them without the noise reappearing, so.... maybe the issue is the Align tail blades?

    So either way, with a view to changing:

    What is the difference between the LE-105 and the LE-105SE tails and would there be a preference to which set I fit to my 700e.

    Have used both with zero noticeable difference in flight, the SE's are 50p dearer and look nicer!

                I'm going through a bit of a 'can't be arsed' phase Paul. I've sold the logo ( hopefully) but won't get funds til end of month. I've got a 700 in my sights so hopefully that will invigorate things a bit. I might come down Sunday and test out the scale thingy
