sounds like you need to run a small tap through the hole to make sure it's clear for the grub to thread through.

They are the plasticky sticky outy bits on the side of the heli head that so many people are going back to after realising that they can't live without them.

defiantly a tap would do it.. all I have to do now is find one locally that small!

If the hole is already there, can't you just wind a long (M3?) cap bolt through it to open it up a touch - with the paddle off the flybar of course to make sure you go right through to the centre?

One silly thing to check, it's not your driver bottoming out on the hole edge, before the grub screw is fully down.

I had this very problem the first time I ever built a Raptor 50, with that stupid grub screw that went all the way into the tail shaft to clamp the tail drive gear pin. Resulted in a nice tail failure I used an old fashioned L shaped allen key on that particular item from then on

Why does it always persist down at weekends ?

Okay... not working one paddle done the 2nd one has an issue the grub screw just isn't biting and moving inwards to grip the flybar.

I think there's something up with the internals on one paddle...
