  • 3mm Curtis Radix stubz

    hi guys.

finally got hold of a set of stubz for my knight

now... when you buy a set of V paddles there is a bit of paper in it warning you that they are very fast and flybar weights should be used. But you can just ignore it and it will be fine.

radix stubz arent your average paddle they dont conform to the normal rules. they supply weights.. use em.

after messing with the weight locations. ruducing the cyclic pitch slightly and reducing the expo slightly. the cyclics stayed as fast as on the stock paddles. but the model just tracks perfectly. and they just react and stop so fast, incredibly crisp.

I broke my Stabz on Wednesday, I originally used them with out the weights, it was windy and they did not feel too good, after I put the weights on they felt a lot better, they weight the same (with the weights) as the Raptor 50 green paddles.

Ade I have ordered some V paddles to replace the Stabz, what do you think of the two?

I recently switched from V paddles to Stubz (With weights) And was very happy with the difference

Flew today in strong winds and bottled it after the first pack
Very different in wind....Heli seemed to 'Fall off position' So much easier than with other paddles I've tried. I'm sticking with them though!
            Cheers,

Out of interest Ade where are your weights positioned on the 3D. I started in the middle and so far have moved them out and reduced cyclic I'm gonna to start and play around with expo on the next flight out.

Ah okay mate Somehow assumed moving the weights further out would slow them down...Will do that!!
