  • 700 Paddles - Differences?

I have just replaced the black 700 paddles on my N9 after a small knock, with a set of the White align paddles. Are there any differences other than colour? Ie onlyhad a couple of rough flights last night with them and it was breezy, but the felt really really pitchy and snappy. The black ones were very smooth (and felt just like the v-paddles I had on there previously) and suited me perfectly, but these White ones feel really alien at the mo.

Anyone able to confirm either way if there are any differences?

    Cheers,
    Jamie

I always thought they were the same. I have a set of blacks on one Aurora and V Paddles on the other and they feel very similar.

I believe there is a difference in the colours on the 600 though Jamie? Maybe the same for the 700 paddles?

I am pretty sure they are the same shape. Were they attached at the same distance on the flybar Jamie?

Not sure on this one to be fair, i use to use the black ones on my aurora but never tried the white ones, and only ever used the white ones on my 700

I do have the black ones still (one is ok, the other got chipped). I'll try and compare them tonight. The certainly look the same, and they are attatched at the same distance as the old ones. I must admit that I'm also going to change the flybar tonight, as I had just straightened it, and it is a little "off" still.

The only bits damaged in the crash were blades (replaced with same 710sb's), paddles, main shaft and feathering shaft.

I'll change the flybar, try and compare the paddles, and check the rest of the head over again, and then try again

Thanks for the advice so far, and if anyone has any 4mm v-paddles, pm me

the thread in one of my white ones went up the creak to I changed them for Stubz was told their too twitchy but im using them with the weights fully out and I think they work really well.

when I see ya you'll have to give it a spin.
                All the best

I would be interested to try stubz on the 700 - loved them on the 600. When i crashed my 600 stubz I tried the align carbins and hated them, far to slow, so now im back to the cheap align plastics, far better than their carbons!
